Divyakala

To further enhance her creativity and promote Indian Classical Arts, Divya has established ‘Divyakala’,

a creative venture showcasing her versatility as a dancer, teacher, artist, dramatist and creative therapist.

Divyakala is a like a banyan tree, playing the habitat for the myriad art forms of India. Just like the immortal and meditative arts of India, the banyan tree signifies eternal growth, with its majestic tangles and deep roots, trunks and branches. Divyakala aims to create a similar spread for Classical Arts of India. Divya’s dance studio is a space for all artists, art lovers and art enthusiasts to come together, collaborate and share their views on the diverse art forms from our country. This is a place where the thoughts merge together to create a greater canvas for the growth of Arts.

Under the banner of Divyakala, Divya has been holding exhibitions to promote her art in painting and creative designing. She has also worked in collaboration with Chandigarh Sangeet Natak Akademi, to enhance the creativity and overall ability of children in Government Schools through ‘Children’s Theatre Workshop and Festival’.
